Magnetech Industrial Services was founded in July 2000. The goal was to build a “Best in Class”
industrial services company to provide a very high degree of innovative and integrated service
solutions. The company operates with four Primary Business Groups and five Centers of
Excellence.
The Primary Business Groups are the Motor Group, Magnet Group, Engineering Services
Group and the Power Systems Group.
The Centers of Excellence are Field Services, Education and Training, MagneTracTM Asset
Management, Predictive and Preventative Maintenance, and Reliability Centered Maintenance.
The company presently has eight service center locations, 240 employees and projected
revenues of approximately 26 million.
“Trying to attract people to positions in the shop and fields service areas of our business is
difficult at times. Prospective employees often see our business as less than glamorous” says
John Martell, President and CEO. That’s why the company has developed an in-house apprenticeship and other educational opportunities, many of which are accredited by Vincennes University. With this type of innovation, employees can see that there is truly a high tech side
to this industrial business. The company is engaging its employees to work towards being part of something that is truly developing into a “Best in Class” organization.
